This is a Department of Health and Human Services-compliant, I-CAB recognized safety training course intended for anyone who handles protected health information. Topics covered in this training include the privacy rule, the security rule, the breach notification rule, and enforcement. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed HIPAA Compliance training.
